OBJETIVES OF THE MASTER’S PROGRAM

The main objective of the Master’s program is to offer the participant the cognitive framework and the techniques necessary to facilitate decision-making in matters of corporate communication and stakeholders as well as to manage and direct a company or socially responsible organization.

The Master’s in Stragegic Management of Social Responsability and Leadership of organizations within the framework of development objectives has been designed so that participants acquire the following competencies:

1. The ability to manage existing and necessary means to meet the social responsibility needs (obligations) of the company both internally and externally.

2. The acquisition and development of leadership skills capable of combining economic interests and social cohesion.

3. The acquisition of knowledge in the area of corporate communication and relationships with stakeholders.

4. The acquisition of knowledge and development of skills and competencies necessary to design, implement and manage entrepreneurship projects or innovation processes that include in their decision matrix contributions of social value.

Teaching period: October ‘20 – October ‘21. Face to face weeks will be in October 2021.

Where will the face-to-face weeks be held? Barcelona

Number of credits: 60

Modality: Blended, online with two face-to-face weeks.

Methodology: Attractive and high-impact methodology based in the case method, promoting debate and reflection

Language of instruction: Language: Spanish and English. English will be used in some activities, and in some subjects, students will have to read and work with articles or manuals written in English.

Application period: The first application term begins on April 2020. The final period for receipt of applications for admission, grants and scholarships is from April 1, 2020 to September 1, 2021.

Admission to the Master’s Program: Contingent on experience, interest and knowledge in the areas of study

Official Title: The Master’s in Public Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Innovation is conferred by Icloby and IL3 University of Barcelona. The title is official and valid in Spain and in all countries with which there are multilateral or bilateral agreements for the recognition of academic degrees and official degrees, once the appropriate legalization process has been carried out.

Face-to-face weeks:

The students of the Master in Strategic Management of Social Responsibility within the framework of the ODS will have the opportunity to have a week (voluntary)  classes and visits to the UN, Global Compact, as well as the business and philanthropic of the USA at the  Farleigh Dickinson University (USA). known for its supranational relations.

In addition to strengthening our commitment to Social Innovation and entrepreneurship, we have prepared excellently the October20 face-to-face week in Barcelona with presence in projects, innovation laboratories, business fabric, knowledge transfer and research centers and entrepreneurship hub.
