MASTER’S IN PUBLIC AFFAIRS, CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND SOCIAL INNOVATION

OBJETIVES OF THE MASTER’S PROGRAM

The main objective is to offer the participant the cognitive framework and the techniques necessary to facilitate decision-making in matters of corporate communication and stakeholders as well as to manage and direct a company or socially responsible organization.

The Master’s in Lobbying, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Innovation has been designed so that participants acquire the following competencies:

  • The ability to manage existing and necessary means to meet the social responsibility needs (obligations) of the company both internally and externally.
  • The acquisition and development of leadership skills capable of combining economic interests and social cohesion.
  • The acquisition of knowledge in the area of ​​corporate communication and relationships with stakeholders.
  • The acquisition of knowledge and development of skills and competencies necessary to design, implement and manage entrepreneurship projects or innovation processes that include in their decision matrix contributions of social value.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Teaching period: October ’18-June ’19. The classroom sessions will be taught the first week of October ’18 and the first week of April ’18 (trimesters of autumn and winter).

Where will the face-to-face weeks be held? Barcelona

Number of credits: 60

Language of instruction: The usual language in which the classes will be taught will be Spanish or Castilian. The materials of habitual use will be written in Spanish or Castilian. However, English will be used in some activities, and in some subjects students will have to work on articles or manuals in English. For this reason, knowledge of this language will be positively valued in the selection process.

Application period: The first deadline for receipt of applications begins on December 1, 2017 and ends on March 31, 2018. The last deadline for receipt of applications for admission, grants and scholarships is from April 1 to June 1 of the year of the beginning of the course.

Admission to the Master’s Program: will be based on experience, interest and knowledge in the areas. Official title: The title, Master’s in Lobbying, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Innovation, is conferred by the University of Barcelona. The title is official and valid in the territory of Spain and also has the corresponding validity in all countries with which there are multilateral or bilateral agreements recognizing academic degrees and official degrees, once the appropriate process of legalization has been completed.
